Also our condolences go out to Billy Parton's family on the lost
of their mother (Betty). She will always be remember by those of
us who knew her as the one ready to go when class was called and
later the solid rock behind Billy and Jade. Always a smile on
her face. She will be truly missed.

 Hello,
my name is Elizabeth Lee Bost. I am from Concord, North
Carolina and I am very honored to represent Eastern Quarter
Horse Association of
North Carolina as Queen for 2008. I am twenty years old. I
graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2007 and attended
Rowan Cabarrus Community College. I am now a licensed hair
stylist. I love styling hair but my main love is my horses
and showing. I have been actively involved with Eastern
Quarter Horse Association for five years. I have been a
Congress team member for the past three years which turned
out to be a valuable experience for me. I would recommend
any youth to get involved with our association.
As always, I am open to any helpful
advice to help me better serve as Queen for the upcoming
year and for my competion in October in Columbus, Ohio. Any
thoughts or donations would be appreciated.

opportunity to serve as your Queen.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW SPONSOR
Our goal is to improve the stallion service of stallions
donated to our service and to work toward making our Thanksgiving
show (Turkey Circuit and Futurity) larger than in the past and as
large as it was in the past. It was once the 4th largest show on the
East Coast. Also to recruit new members to belong to an organization
which belongs to the members.
EQHNC's objectives for 2008: Shall be to stimulate and regulate
matters such as may pertain to breeding, exhibition, publicity,
sale, racing or improvements of the AQHA breed.
